Rupert leads initiatives and experiments in the field of Artificial Intelligence at Erste Group, with a particular focus on its application by or together with customers. Over the last 3.5 years, he has held various positions around the digital app George and now strives to further improve the user experience and interaction between customers and the bank through the use of AI. This includes working with teams in several Erste Group countries as well as cooperating with external partners to develop and implement innovative solutions.

Dr. Anna Tidstam completed her doctorate in the research field of artificial intelligence (AI) in Sweden at Chalmers University of Technology. She started her career in the field of autonomous driving at BMW. Since 2021, she has been working in the healthcare industry, first as Chief Technology Officer of a leading AI platform for radiology and then as founder of Aileen Health, where she uses AI models to simulate breast cancer progression. In her current role, Dr. Tidstam brings her AI experience to clinical applications with the goal of ensuring that cancer is always detected early.

Marlene Hanschitz-Halikias is a partner at Grant Thornton Austria and heads the Advisory department. She is an auditor, tax advisor and generally sworn and court-certified expert for business valuation, corporate planning and accounting, among other things. Born and raised in Altenmarkt, Salzburg, Martin Kocher initially worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Public Finance after studying economics at the University of Innsbruck. This was followed by an international academic career with positions at universities in Munich, Amsterdam, Norwich and Gothenburg.
From 2016 to 2021, he was Scientific Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies (IHS) in Vienna and Head of the IHS Competence Center for Behavioral Economics “Insight Austria”. Most recently, he was also
President of the Austrian Fiscal Advisory Council (FISK).

On January 11, 2021, Martin Kocher was sworn in as Federal Minister of Labor, Family and Youth by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. On 11 May 2022, he was sworn in as Federal Minister for Digitalization and Business Location by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. On 18 July 2022, Martin Kocher was sworn in as Federal Minister of Labor and Economic Affairs by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen.

1997 – 2003 he was scientific director of the “Philosophicum Lech”, since 2024 he has been co-director of this renowned event. He publishes regularly as an essayist and columnist in national and international media. Konrad Paul Liessmann has received numerous prizes and awards, including the Austrian State Prize for Cultural Journalism and recently the Cross of Honor for Science and Art I Class of the Republic of Austria.
